On 21 February 2024 a BRIN-claimed tornado struck Rancaekek, mainly affecting the town of Sumedang, and Bandung Regency, West Java, Indonesia leaving 33 people injured.[1]
The BMKG say the claimed tornado as angin puting beliung with speed of 36.8 km/h [2]
